The Hong Kong Large Families Association

The Hong Kong Large Families Association, abbreviated as HKLFA was founded in 7th July 2017 aiming to support and promote the large families in the Hong Kong society and to represent the social and economic interests of families with children, in general, and large families, in particular, as the most appropriate environment for bringing up children, integrating them into society for the public benefits, and providing mutual support and solidarity among generations; as well as the promotion, development and unity of the movement of large family organizations.

We also propose to make a new case for generosity in childbearing as well as provide encouragement to those mothers and fathers who need support in their public desire to have more children in their families and the society.

The mission is to witness the beauty of large families and to overcome the difficulties the parents may think of having a bigger family, in order to form a stronger foundation to support the society in confronting the population aging issue.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the association shall be to represent the social and economic interests of families with children, in general, and large families, in particular, as the most appropriate environment for bringing up children, integrating them into society for the public benefits, and providing mutual support and solidarity among generations; as well as the promotion, development and unity of the movement of large family organizations.

CRITERIA

Promoting respect to life and motherhood, responsibility for marriage and future generations

Transforming large families into a community knowing and helping one another.

Acting for and serving specific interests of large families

Increasing the productivity of society by increasing birthrate as to make future generations for having lesser struggles to meet an ever increasing number of retired workers and pension commitments.
